Can you default Teams to open files in an Edge Workspace instead of Edge

Question

I have Teams set to open my M365 Documents in the Web app. But now that Workspace is in GCC I have a workspace set up for those apps. Can I set my default to open the web app in the Edge Web Workspace and not in my home Edge instance?

According to my test, this feature is not currently available.

You can choose to open the file in the browser by default but you cannot choose to open it in a specific workspace.

To get this feature more quickly, you can send a feedback directly to Microsoft to add it in future updates.

To send a feedback in Team you can select the Help button at the bottom lower-left of Teams and then choose Suggest a feature or Give feedback to tell to Microsoft what you think.

Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. With requirements like this increase, the problem may well be released in the future.
