When updating an email domain, but maintaining the same core account, office reverts to the old address for a day or so.

Although the updated email will register in portal.office.com and retains the old emails data, when updating the email in outlook, word, etc. by signing out of ******@old.com and into ******@new.com, the new email shows for a second before reverting to ******@old.com. If I try the same process the next day, ******@new.com will stay. Although we push the Azure sync, is there another sync we can push in order to make office register the new email quicker? It is purely a visual issue but a bothersome one. TIA.

    Hi @Sloane Harker ,

Does the problem only occur on the client side?

If so, I would suggest you create a new profile for these new custom domain address.

Here are the documents for your reference:

Create a new Outlook for Mac profile
