There could be several reasons why your phone number was unable to be validated.
- The phone number you entered was in the wrong format or in an unsupported country. Make sure there's a space between your country/region code and the phone number.
- The phone number may already be in use. If it's already associated with an Azure account, you won't be able to create a new account.
- There's a temporary issue with the verification service that's prevent your number from being verified.
To remedy this issue, If the email address you used to create your account is a personal one, you can enable another security feature on your account. If that does not work, you can create a billing support ticket or call customer service.
