How to recover old codes in Authenticator app?

Hi there,
I got a new iPhone and I haven't transferred my codes from my code generator (Authenticator app) to my new phone. I wasn't aware that I had to have a Microsoft account in order to transfer the codes to the new iPhone.
I therefore have to reset my two-step verification and set it up on my phone. I already setup the app, but I need the old codes to for example logging into my Facebook account etc.
I have tried all of Microsoft Authenticator instructions but it doesn't work.
