ADF: When can we use change data capture for cosmos db with more authentication types

Hello,

I'm implementing a data warehouse solution for which I have to ingest data from a cosmosDB into an ADLS Gen2 storage with ADF.
I want to use the Change Data Capture functionality for this task, but unfortunately, it is only supported for authentication type account key while I am forced to use a "user assigned managed identity" to authentictate against the cosmosDB.

Is it planned to include the possibility to use other authentication types with CDC in the future?
And if so, is there already a schedule at what time we can expect this feature?

yes, there is a plan to use other authentication types.
And if so, is there already a schedule at what time we can expect this feature?

It's in roadmap for 2024, no ETA yet but you can check on Azure updates where feature announcement will be posted.
