Copy data activity fails with the an error which says ErrorCode=SystemErrorFailedToGetSchemaTable

MY source and sink is Azure synapse. I am not able to import mappings in the copy data activity as I get an error saying "failed to import source schema".
But I am able to preview the source and my LS is perfect for source and sink.
Kindly let me know how to fix this.

Can you please provide us with a detailed error message?
Please review the column mapping between the source and sink and make sure the mappings are correct and there are no un-supported data types conversions between source and destination. Also, check if there are any issues with the source data.

2023-06-14T07:31:12.5+00:00 This Copy data activity was working fine till yesterday. The Mappings are good and there are no data type issues. Even I am able to preview the data for both Source and SINK.

This is strange. Can you please try the below steps and see if it helps.
- Clear your data schema in your source dataset
- Import schema in your source dataset
- Clear your mapping in your copy settings.
- Import schemas on mapping of copy activity
and then try running your pipeline.

Thanks for the details. So it seems like an issue with that specific column.
Can you please provide us with a detailed error message?
Please try to split the copy process into a two-step process. Copy without the additional column and then update the sink with the additional column in a separate step and see if it helps.
