New Outlook and COM

Hi

I have just learned that MS will no longer support COM-AddIns in the "new" version of Outlook

Does this also apply to COM automation?

Is the new Outlook in Windows actually a HTML/JavaScript application running in a browser window made to look like a windows application?

Looks like your issue is more related to development, please kindly understand that the Outlook tag here we mainly focus on general issues about Outlook desktop client. In order to better solve your problem, we will add "Office Development" tag.

As i know, the new Outlook for Windows brings the latest features, intelligent assisted capabilities and a new modern and simplified design to your Outlook app. More information:
