Third party monitoring tools returning "connection reset error" from App Service

Using Binary Canary monitor for HTTP web request to an App Service. Also using New Relic synthetic monitoring for same purpose and the website is returning on a regular basis that a connection reset has occurred. The website actually is rendering pages, though sometimes you will the "can't reach this page" message followed by the home page coming up immediately afterwards. I am requesting both a custom domain and the azurewebsites.net domain and getting the same results, which leads me to believe it is an Azure App Service issue.

Thanks for any insight or help.

@Scott Price Thanks for reaching here! New Relic infrastructure monitoring provides an integration for Microsoft Azure App Service that reports data from Azure Apps Service to the New Relic platform.

Could you please refer to this document which explains how to activate this integration and describes the data that can be captured.

Also, please check if followed all the standard procedures to activate your Azure service in New Relic.

    1. Follow the step-by-step instructions provided in the guide.
    2. Log in to your New Relic account and navigate to the Azure integrations setup page.
    3. Select the Azure App service you want to integrate with New Relic.
    4. Configure the integration settings, which may include providing your Azure subscription ID, authentication credentials, or API keys.
    5. Review and validate the integration settings, ensuring that the required permissions are granted and the connection is established successfully.

Let us know, to help you better here.
