Question

I got blue screen error suddenly on my azure vm

Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info, and then you can restart. INVALID_KERNEL_HANDLE bug check

Issue happened suddenly and nothing we have done prior to issue

But after 1 or 2 hour I have manually restarted vm from portal and vm came back

What is the reason?

When I checked there is one dump file generated. But it is not complete memory dump. Its the default dump file as shown as below

Previously I raised microsoft support request. They advise to collect complete memory dump for these type of boot errors.

Can anyone tell me why we need to collect memory dump?

Is automatic memory dump valid for these type of boot errors?
