custom sink ordering issue

Hi,

i have created dataflows for scd2 type and i have two sink. when i try to order then in such a way first update then insert. i cant able to order it. It always says Not specified.

As a workaround , could you please try manually typing the number i.e. 1 and 2 respectively to specify the order and see if it works. I tried from my end and it works well. Check the JSON below:

After i added save order in the json file, it shows 1 and 2 order in settings, but from setting it still an issue to change as i can only able to do it in json.

As per the internal team , There appears to be a UI regression bug in the data flow settings which is causing this issue. They are looking into it. I will keep you posted once there is any update. Thankyou

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A platform and thanks for posting your question here.

As I understand your issue, sink order is not populating from the dropdown in case of multiple sink in mapping dataflow. Please let me know if my understanding is incorrect.

I tried to repro your scenario and faced the same issue. I am taking this forward with the internal team and will keep you posted once I hear back from them regarding the resolution. Thankyou.

Hi Mathan ramalingam ,

As per my communication with the internal team, "The issue has been fixed and is available in all regions now. (Both on ADF and Synapse studio) "

I checked from my end as well and looks like custom sink ordering feature is letting us select the sink order from the dropdown.
