We recently discovered in our Azure tenant that there was some Blob storage that was on Pay-As-You-Go on a users credit card. That cardholder no longer possessed that card and the invoices begun to lapse. We discovered that the we stopped gettings invoices after 3 months about it. Is there a way to pay all the past due invoices up until today to regain access to this data?

@Fred Wegner Admin Thanks for posting your query on Microsoft Q&A.

Yes, you can resolve past due balances by following the steps detailed in the document below:

Resolve past due balance in the Azure portal

    1. Sign in to the Azure portal as the Account Admin.
    2. Search for Cost Management + Billing.
    3. Select the past due subscription from the Overview page.
    4. In the Subscription overview page, select the red past due banner to settle the balance.

If I forget to pay, what happens?

Unfortunately, the service is canceled and your resources are no longer available. Your Azure data is deleted 90 days after the service is terminated. To learn more, see Microsoft Trust Center - How we manage your data.

If you know your payment has been processed but your subscription is still disabled, contact Azure Support.
