Glad to see I'm not the only one who's dealing with this stupid FB issue. FB claims that I selected Authenticator instead of Text for 2 step. However, I would have NEVER done that, as text is much easier. I believe that FB selected Authentication app b/c my phone number on FB is old. The problem is that I can't update phone number w/o generating code, just a vicious f*ckng circle. I wish FB would have been smart enough to see this as a problem, and provided another option to verify. Now I could lose access to FB at some point, if I get logged out on old devices, and may I never be able to install on new devices. FB is really stupid. Anyone else suspect this is a FB issue?
