Why is Onedrive access so complicated as compared to GDrive

Question

As a Delphi Developer I can get access to my customer's GDrive easily. All the User has to do is 'Allow' my app when the Browser Pops up. Username and password is already in the Browser. Add to it Google does not enforce users to change passwords every few months.

Similarly if User wants my app for Onedrive he needs to Authenticate by feeding Username and Password and every 90 days he has to reauthenticate.

If my app is being used on 100 end points for one customer, IT Dept gets upset.
