I consult with many organisations and usually add get allocated an email address from their organisation to interact with them (makes diaries easier for them). I do this by adding an M365 account to my local Outlook. I've got 6-8 at any given time. Recently I've added one that, for some reason, has applied a Microsoft Purview rating to every Microsoft file - even the ones that have nothing to do with the client in question. The only help I've found online involves going to the Purview console, which I can't do as it belongs to the client. All the Microsoft products are licensed to me, not the client, so I'm not sure where Purview thinks it got the authorization to impact files that are not from the organisation in question.
How do I turn off Purview for the non-related files?

@John Baird - Thanks for the question and using MS Q&A platform.

Checkout this article: Manage sensitivity labels in Office apps - If you need to turn off built-in labeling in Office apps on Windows which helps to disbale the sensitivity labels and sensitivity label policy settings from the Microsoft Purview compliance portal.
