Hello

How do I set up a quick action to send an email to a new to a distribution list in Outlook Version 1.2023.607.100?

I've found how to set up a quick action but not how to set up a distribution list. I'd like to be able to compose an email to my team mates quickly.

I used this function frequently in Outlook, but I can't find the same functionality in Outlook Version 1.2023.607.100.

Thank you.

    Hi @Brinklow,K,Karen,XBQ1 R ,

I've found how to set up a quick action but not how to set up a distribution list. I'd like to be able to compose an email to my team mates quickly.

I am afraid currently there is no same or equivalent functionally available in the New Outlook version 1.2023.607.100. As you may have already noticed, the "Quick Steps" function in New Outlook is not the same as it is in the classic Outlook, so it cannot be used for your requirement.

Given this, if by "distribution list" you are referring to the contact list created in Outlook, you can consider using the steps below as a workaround:

    1. Click the People > All Contact lists.
    2. Select the contact list you want to send mails to, hit the "Send Email" button:

Meanwhile, I tried searching in the official feedback portal for Outlook and found some similar suggestions about bringing the quick steps feature in classic Outlook to the New Outlook. I have already added my vote there and I'll share one of the links below in case you or others in the community would like to add votes or comments there as well:

In addition, you can also consider going back to the classic version of Outlook by switching the toggler off:
