Is it possible that read only files and folders not appear in visual studio FTP to plesk?

I use arvixe as my hosting provider. When I open a website with FTP in visual studio, there are some files and folders I cannot see.

But when I log into arvixe and use thier plesk file manager, I can see these missing files and folders.
