How to enable push notifications for adb2c mfa

Hello,

Is it possible to configure push notifications for ADB2C MFA?
Our customers find this annoying that they still need to enter the code of the microsoft authenticator app.
Is it possible to get a notification that they just need to approve instead of filling in the code?

Hello,

I just checked your answer, but I can't see the multi-factor authentication claim you suggested.

The only setting I can select is Authenticator app - TOTP.

@Kevin Tahon Thank you for reaching out to us, As I understand you want to enable push notifications for adb2c mfa, verified this requirement with my internally on this, currently push notifications for Azure AD B2C is not supported.

Verified methods which are available are documented here - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory-b2c/multi-factor-authentication?pivots=b2c-user-flow#verification-methods ( same as per your screenshot ).

@Givary-MSFT Thank you for the response. Is there a plan to add this functionality in the future? In true case, is there a known time when it's possible? Otherwise are they alternatives for working with push notifications. For the moment I'm using custom policies with the totp authentication template, is there a template available that works with push notifications?

@Kevin Tahon We have this requirement in our backlog and other customers looking for the same, but there is no timeline when this feature will be available, would suggest sharing your feedback on https://feedback.azure.com/d365community which is closely monitored by our product group team.

One of my colleagues suggested this approach, see if this can help - Twilio Verify app provides multiple solutions to enable MFA through SMS one-time password (OTP), time-based one-time password (TOTP), and push notifications, and to comply with SCA requirements for PSD2 - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory-b2c/partner-twilio
