Dear Reader or Readers,

I have a problem and I can't quite figure it out!

As a start-up organization, we have several laptops with the Windows 11 Pro operating system.

Now we do not have a personal but one work/school account on all laptops, which is linked to the Microsoft business package.

When I block the account in the Microsoft admin center or change the password, you can still log in to the laptop with the old password or with the blocked account. Somehow they don't synchronize with each other.

I'd love to hear how I solve this!

Yours sincerely,

It seems that there is a delay in the synchronization process or an issue with the synchronization mechanism.

*Network connectivity issues can prevent synchronization.

*Check the synchronization status between your on-premises Active Directory and Azure AD. Ensure that the synchronization process is running correctly without any errors or warnings. You can check this from the Azure portal or the Azure AD Connect server.

*Try forcing a synchronization to see if the changes take effect. On the Azure AD Connect server, you can open "Azure AD Connect" and select "Synchronize Now" to initiate a manual synchronization.

*Check the event logs on the laptop and the Azure AD Connect server for any errors or warnings related to password synchronization.
