Windows Server 2022 with Exchange 2019 CU13 coexistence with Windows Server 2012R2 and Exchange 2013

Hi, one of our clients has a fully updated/patched Exchange 2013 installation running on Windows Server 2012R2.

They now asked me to migrate Exchange 2013 to Exchange 2019 CU13 and get rid of the old server.

I see that from Exchange 2019 CU12 and up, Windows Server 2022 is fully supported so I prepared a new server with that OS.

Does anyone know if running it this way will cause issues having this in a coexistent state? I don't see why but I haven't yet seen this combination of Exchange versions working together.. If there is anything really important I need to be aware of any tips would be appreciated.

    Hi @Caspar,

I think it should be possible to coexist.

    Check this: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/plan-and-deploy/supportability-matrix?view=exchserver-2019#supported-active-directory-environments
