Windows 10 Directional Audio Reversed Again.

I am on Windows 10 64bit and for now I am blocking Windows 11 update. I just recently noticed on Destiny 2 my directional audio is reversed. I thought it was linked to Windows Sonic for headphones but no, even the 7.1 directional audio to my Corsair Virtuoso headset is playing reversed. ( reversed meaning audio is playing behind me while someone in front of me is talking). Could any of the April or May updates done this? I looked through the scheduled updates and was puzzled because I did not think any applied to audio but some have no discription either. This may not seem like a big deal but so much of games is related to accurate sound distance and direction. Without it lots and lots of people will be mad because they cant hear what is going on from the right direction. I also said again because this is not the first time Microsoft made this mistake, It happened on an update near August 2019. So I ask, is anyone else having this issue and what will be done or can be done to resolve it?

    Hi

Welcome to the Microsoft community. I will try my best to help you.

Have you ever tried to change the location of the audio interface to see if the problem still exists.

You can also wait until you enter the game, unplug and plug in the audio interface again. In addition, some games have the setting of reversing stereo, you can find it.

Or you can try to use equalizer to solve the channel inversion problem.

I looked it up for you. It seems that USB2 0 interface and some interfaces do not have these problems. It seems that they may be caused by the driver.

    I await news.

You are welcome to reply to this topic, and I sincerely thank you for your support of Microsoft products and services.

This happens to me on Windows 11 as well, I cannot figure out how to fix it. When something in a game is talking to me, I cannot hear it unless I tun my back to them because the sound is backwards. Sound works just fine otherwise.
