I created a new Microsoft Account for my Company. I fill in the date of Incorporation (30/05/23) as date of birth. Now the account has been recognized as child account. I gave permission from my personal account for creation. But I want to convert it to a major account. How to do that?

To solve this issue I have to contact Microsoft Support at support.microsoft.com. They told me to go through these steps to solve the issue.

    • Sign in with your parent account at Family Safety from Incognito tab of your browser. In Edge you can use InPrivate Window.
    • Select three horizontal dots beside the child account.
    • Select Manage Consent and Edit this child's personal Info. From there the birth date can be changed.

The child account have lots of restrictions. Hence the company account should be created with the age of the person creating the account.
