Lost device for admin account of Developer E5

I changed my iPhone and I think Authenticator app will back up my Authentication code for Work account of Developer E5. But no, the Authenticator app also required to login even restored it.

But it also required to type 2FA code. Now I'm stuck at two options:

  • Use a verification code
  • Approve request from app

Now there is noway to enter my admin account anymore. I called the tech support but they cannot find my business domain (because I am just a developer account probably? )

Can anyone help me to enter my admin account, please?

    I'm stuck too. Microsoft Authenticator does not back up any 2FA from a business or school account. Then can't log in to the admin of the E5 subscription. I tried to remove the subscription and create a new subscription but still have an old admin account, which can't change.

    If you are the only global admin on the account and are blocked entirely, you can reach out to the 365 Data Protection team to restore access. 866-807-5850
