Create Microsoft Purview

Hi,

I get the below error when i try to create a purview account. I need to create an account for testing purposes

Validation failed with error: The template deployment 'Microsoft.PurviewAccount-FeminPurviewTest-1687964892593' is not valid according to the validation procedure. The tracking id is 'd4985f3c-50a1-4a24-94e8-da5dc70b6322'. See inner errors for details.

Detailed error(s):

35001 - Validation failed for PurviewforTesting. A Tenant-level Purview Account already exists for tenant: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX with ID: e2737957-fab8-4d7e-94f6-9bd6af9f7158. If you want to create an additional Purview Account, please reach out to Microsoft Support. Correlation ID: 3241413e-e5db-42f2-91ca-b49cc5d4c6b1

It looks like you are trying to create a Microsoft Purview account, but the deployment is failing with an error message indicating that a tenant-level Purview account already exists for your tenant. This means that you cannot create another Purview account for your tenant without contacting Microsoft Support.

To resolve this issue, you can try the following steps:

Check if you already have a Purview account in your tenant. You can do this by going to the Azure portal and searching for "Purview accounts" in the search bar. If you already have a Purview account, you can use that instead of creating a new one.

If you do not have a Purview account and need to create one for testing purposes, you can contact Microsoft Support to request an additional Purview account for your tenant.

Alternatively, you can try creating a new tenant in Azure AD and then create a new Purview account in that tenant. This will allow you to create a new Purview account without contacting Microsoft Support.

Thank you for your response. Just curious , what is the reason for allowing only one purview per tenant?
