- As with all task sequence issues and troubleshooting, it's firstly recommended to examine the smsts.log on the target system. Please refer to:

Note: This is non-Microsoft link, just for your reference. - We can also check the smspxe.log on the site system server, the smspxe.log records details about the responses to clients that use PXE boot, and details about the expansion of boot images and boot files.
