It should be in the OS partition.
C:\Windows\System32

I recently installed Windows Server 2022 for the first time. I got everything installed, was in the process of setting up the network info, but after rebooting, I am unable to log in. I must have fat-fingered my password, and cannot figure out what it is. Without reinstalling Windows, I am trying to reset the local admin password. One of the methods indicated using cmd to modify the ease of access screen etc.
So, to do that, I need to know the directory where system32 is located to run Utilman. The default instructions were not working; so I then mapped out my drives.
Here is what I have:
Volume 0 - F - "" - DVD-ROM
Volume 1 - C - OS - Partition - 2048 MB
Volume 2 - "" - "" - Partition - 221 GB
Volume 3 - "" - ESP - Partition - 220 MB
Volume 4 - D - WinServer 2022 - Removeable - 14 GB
Volume 5 - E - UEFI_NTS - Removable - 1024 KB
After going through every drive and folder, there appears to be no system32 folder, which is obviously impossible because I completely finished the installation.
It should be in the OS partition.
C:\Windows\System32
The minimum disk size for Server 2022 is 32 gB so that should limit the possibilities, but the much simpler solution would be to clean install it again.
