Yes, setting delivery restrictions can only be done after the DDL object has been provisioned, and only via the Set-DynamicDistributionGroup cmdlet.
Message Delivery Restriction for Dynamic Distribution Lists in Exchange Online

Hi
Is there a way of specifying a list of senders who are allowed to send to a Dynamic Distribution List while we're creating a DDL?
I can see that there's command to perform an update to existing DDL:
Set-DistributionGroup "GROUP-NAME" -AcceptMessagesOnlyFromSendersOrMembers
However, the official MS documentation doesn't discuss any command-line option / parameter to allow setting this-up during the DDL creation--> https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/exchange/new-dynamicdistributiongroup?view=exchange-ps
Is it only possible after the DDL creation?
Thanks
Taranjeet Singh
