Calendar invites

I'm trying to not have "tentative" calendar invites show up in a users calendar until his delegate excepts the requested invite. I know there are a couple of moving parts here, but what I'm mostly concerned with is how to not have the tentative invite show up in the users calendar.

The actual invite can be forwarded to the delegate through a mail flow rule. That part is pretty simple.

    Hi @Keith Hampshire

Outlook will indeed automatically process your meeting requests so these time-slots are reserved on your Calendar as Tentative. This is to prevent others from booking the same time-slot before you have processed an earlier sent meeting request.

As a workaround you can filter it out in the calendar:

    1. Click on: View Settings.
    2. Click on: Filter…
    3. Select the tab: Advanced.
    4. Add the following criteria:

    Capture

And the workaround is only applicable with Outlook desktop.

Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. With requirements like this increase, the problem may well be released in the future, and you can make a suggestion via this link
