RDC - Remote computer sleeps when local PC sleeps

I have two different Windows laptops - Laptop 1 on Windows 10 Enterprise and Laptop 2 running Windows 11 Pro. Both devices are connected via Ethernet on the same private network. When Laptop 2 (which is the local laptop I work on) goes to sleep after 15 minutes of idle time (as configured), the remote Laptop 1 also goes to sleep even though it is set to sleep only after 30 minutes of idle time. Do not see any setting the on the remote desktop connection tool that causes this behavior. Any suggestions on how to prevent this would be appreciated. Thanks.
