I want to install a OEM driver named Omen Gaming Hub, and I find its .msix package in web. But I can't install it and the wrong code is: 0x80070005. How can I do to install it? The error prompt is:

The application installation failed with error message: error 0x80070005: While processing the request, the system was unable to register the windows.firewall extension due to the following error: Access denied.

    Hi there,

    based upon the information

Error code 0x80070005 typically indicates a permissions issue that is preventing the installation of the application. In this case, it specifically mentions an access denied error related to registering the windows.firewall extension. To troubleshoot and resolve this issue, you can try the following steps:

Run the installer as an administrator:

Right-click on the installer file (the .msix package) and select "Run as administrator" from the context menu. This ensures that the installer has the necessary permissions to make changes to the system.

    Disable third-party antivirus or firewall:

Temporarily disable any third-party antivirus or firewall software that may be interfering with the installation process. These security applications sometimes block certain system modifications, including the installation of new software.

    Check Windows Firewall settings:

Ensure that Windows Firewall is not blocking the installation. You can temporarily disable the firewall or create an exception for the installation process. To access Windows Firewall settings, open the Start menu, search for "Windows Security," and open the app. From there, go to "Firewall & network protection" and customize the settings accordingly.

    And see if it helps,

    Thank you
