I own a Hp convertible laptop DW1040UT which I updated to Windows 11 in December 2022. It mentions "includes: Office Home & Student". The shop from where I purchased the device activated it and everything was smooth until I went to apps and clicked on "modify". Thereafter I selected Online repair. 12 days after, I can't use word or any power point etc. All I get is prompt to Buy 365. I tried to uninstall 365 but now I don't even have anything like word or power point in my laptop now.

I can't understand if office home &student is perpetual after activation, how can I go back to it??????

    Hello @RT !

    Welcome to Microsoft QnA!

I see your issue is with Office 365 on your laptop !

    Please have a look : ( https://www.microsoft.com/en-AU/microsoft-365/p/office-home-student-2021/CFQ7TTC0H8N8?activetab=pivot:overviewtab )

Once you have purchased Office, you can install it from the Services & subscriptions section of your Microsoft Account page.

Go to Office Support for more steps to download, install, reinstall, activate, or update Office.

So log in with your University - Student Email into Microsoft Account from the link above

You will find out whether you are eligible for the Office Student Version and you can re install it !
