Dear Support Team,

I recently built a PC for a client and installed Windows 11. By default, the PC should be connected to Azure AD. However, despite performing a fresh installation and using unused hardware, I am receiving an error message stating that the PC is already registered. This is not the case, as confirmed by the Azure Admin Center. It is important to mention that I have encountered a similar issue in the past, which I was able to resolve by deleting registry keys. Unfortunately, this approach did not work this time.

I am now facing an obstacle as I am unable to successfully add the PC to Azure AD. This situation is impacting my workflow and the quality of customer service I can provide. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this problem. Please advise if there are specific steps to address the incorrect registration issue and successfully add the PC to Azure AD.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I appreciate your support in resolving this issue.

Best regards,

    Thank you for asking this question on the Microsoft Q&A Platform.

    You should delete the device from your Azure AD

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/devices/device-management-azure-portal#delete-an-azure-ad-device

    If doesn't work, please show screenshots of the error in your device and your Azure AD Device settings.

    Hope this helps!

    @Claudio

    Thank you for sharing your screenshot. Seems like you device is already MDM enrolled.

    Kindly navigate to settings > accounts > access work or school and see if it does show any accounts , Microsoft Icon or a briefcase icon here.

    Click on it and hit disconnect and then try again AAD join/registering the device.
