RBAC error when adding a new secret to keyvault

Question

I was applying (what used to be) lab 12 of the AZ-900 set of labs, related to provisioning a keyvault and adding a secret to it. I have done this many times in the past, and the user I am using is a global admin. However, I was denied access to do that because of a lack of privileges error. Is there something that has changed recently (I was previously using a sponsored account, and now a pay as you go, but I do not believe that is relevant). Thanks for the feedback.
