Hello, colleagues!
Please help me, I'm not able to delete an Azure tenant 'Default directory'.

Sorry, I know that there are a lot of similar questions here, but I can't find specific case. All recipes that I found didn't help.

So, what I have when trying to delete tenant:
User's image

^^ you can see all green. But when I press 'Delete', I'm getting

Unable to delete tenant Default Directory. Known issues exist where some enterprise applications are not capable to delete within the portal. Click the notification title for more information and manual troubleshooting steps.

Following the recommended procedure - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/enterprise-users/directory-delete-howto#remove-enterprise-apps-that-you-cant-delete - leads to nothing. I still can't delete tenant with the same error.

Please help me -- how can I force to delete this tenant?

Thanks

    @Dmytro Tkachenko

Thank you for posting your question in Microsoft Q&A.

Usually there are some applications that get's created in directory due to some tools like AD connect.

These applications can only be deleted using the same tool.

Using PowerShell we have pull the applications which are available in your directory.

Post that we can try to delete them using PowerShell itself.

Let's try to connect offline to troubleshoot this issue further.

Please send us an email on azcommunity [at] microsoft [dot] com with Sub - Attn: Sandeg and following details in the email body:

    Hi Dymtro,

Can you try the powerShell commands to remove the Apps and dependencies if there are any that could be locking the tenant, also check the detailed technical page that should help you to delete the Azure Tenant - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/enterprise-users/directory-delete-howto

If that does not help please raise a support case with Microsoft to check the backend services if there are any locks on the resources or tenant - https://azure.microsoft.com/en-ca/support/create-ticket/

    Hope this helps.
