Hi
New MS 365 tenant. Inline images in email sent from Outlook 365 connected to Exchange online comes out as place holders on recipient side. How can we get the inline images come through fine on the other end?

In order to better troubleshoot this problem, I would like to confirm the following points with you:
1. Does the image display correctly when the recipient opens the message using OWA?
2. Are all members of the organization reporting this issue? or are individual users?
3. Can you post a screenshot of the display as a placeholder here for us to research better.

This is a strange problem in my case.
If mail is sent from MS 365 to external user user1@mydomain.com the images are mostly missing and replaced by a link.
If mail is sent from MS 365 to external user user2@mydomain.com (same domain as the problematic account) the images come out fine.
Seems MS 365 remembers something about user1 that it does not for user2.
The only thing I can see is that user1@mydomain.com was used as an external forwarder for one of global admin accounts.

2023-09-25T12:50:19.1433333+00:00 At my side a user is sending message (via API or outlook) and at the receiver end, all receivers are receiving placeholder and not image.
