Boot fails after enabling Bitlocker and rebooting

Hi!

After enabling Bitlocker on my Windows 10 system drive I'm unable to boot.

I have turned on Bitlocker on my C: drive with the full-drive encryption and new-not-backward-compatible-encryption options (not sure how are the options exactly called). I set the encryption to use TPM to store the key and I have backed up the recovery key to the Microsoft Account. In the last step I have selected I want to reboot before encrypting data to verify everything's OK. But the system did not boot. I have no Idea why, I've got a generic "your pc/device needs to be repaired 0xc00000e" blue screen error.

When trying to unlock the drive by booting the recovery flash drive, my recovery key from Microsoft Account gets rejected, although the Device Name and Key ID match the prompt.

manage-bde -status displays

Volume D: [Label Unknown]

[Data Volume]

Size: UnknownGB

BitLocker Version: 2.0

Conversion Status: Unknown

Percentage Encrypted: Unknown%

Encryption Method: XTS-AES 128

Protection Status: Unknown

Lock Status: Locked

Identification Field: Unknown

Automatic Unlock: Disabled

Key Protectors:

   TPM

   Numerical Password

for that drive.

After saving the recovery key to the MS account, I've also tried to save that to a file as a backup for testing. The open file dialog printed some weird error about the file not found. I've ignored that and only kept the online backup. I realized that if the key is changing with each export, that's what could cause the recovery key not working. Can somebody confirm that?

Also, my secure boot was disabled when enabling the Bitlocker.

I have tried to run manage-bde -unlock D: -rp xxxxxx-xxxxxx-xxxxxx-xxxxxx-xxxxxx-xxxxxx-xxxxxx-xxxxxx, which says the password is invalid.

I suppose the data was not yet encrypted, because the reboot happened immediately after I was done with the configuration. I don't know how Bitlocker online encryption works, but I suppose, there's still a NTFS filesystem on the drive. Is there a way of restoring it? Ideally by removing Bitlocker FS and keeping the unencrypted data on the NTFS so that I can keep using the installed OS. If that's not possible, I'd like to be able to recover a backup copy in case I remember I left something useful on the drive, any tips?

Thanks for your assistance!
