Cluster node cannot move to another on WSFC

Hi all,

I've a Cluster Role AOG at Windows environment

I try to move cluster node manually into another on WSFC but failed!

but when failover from its AlwaysOn Group at SSMS successfully moved..

any advice for this case?

Please review the cluster and SQL Server logs can provide more specific error messages and information about the failure. The records can often pinpoint the underlying issue.

Hi all,

it still didn't work..

one of report cluster log just say.."

[RCM] all nodes are already possible owners of restype SQL Availability Group, not doing update

[RCM] AOG_DC cannot be hosted on node 2

[RCM] possible owner: <vector len='1'>

I didn't set or strict any related security or dependencies of cluster & AOG &

[RCM] all nodes are already possible owners of restype SQL Availability Group, not doing update

[RCM] AOG_DC cannot be hosted on node 2

[RCM] possible owner: <vector len='1'>

no restriction & dependencies was set related to WSFC & AOG

Check if any restrictions or dependencies are set on the Cluster Role (AOG) that prevent manual movement between nodes. Some settings may restrict the movement of cluster roles, so reviewing the properties of the role can provide insights.
