Bitlocker key recovery help required

Hi

I have the Bitlocker recovery message on my laptop but I had forgotten my MS account password and no longer had access to the email address associated with it, so I created a new Outlook.com email account and waited 30 days for the transfer. When I logged in via aka.ms/myrecoverykey it states there are no Bitlocker keys saved in the account, even though I can see the new account seems to have transferred some settings from the old account (e.g. "password last changed 2017").

Please can you advise how I might be able to recovery the key? I didn't save it anywhere as I wasn't ever prompted to do so.

Thanks

    Hello

Thank you for your question and reaching out.

I can understand your point and situation , But the only way to Unlock drive is to use Bitlocker from the account to which it is saved , Hence you need to use same account to get Recovery key.

Or if this Computer is your Work account then your IT admin can help to provide recovery key.
