I have a laptop connected to docking station with 2 external monitors with an rdp session to azure vdi using all monitors including the laptop screen.

What I want to know is how to prevent the rdp window from exiting fullscreen and going to windowed mode when closing the laptop lid and without having to set the laptop to 'only show external display'

    Hello@Jason

When you close the laptop lid, it triggers a power action.

You might go to the Power Options in the Control Panel and selecting “Choose what closing the lid does”. Under “When I close the lid,” choose the “Do nothing” option when plugged in.
