Add DB to a AG - complains about space on secondary

Dear all,

I removed a DB from an AG a few days ago. When I try to add again, I get this error:

User's image

The share in the secondary has plenty of space for DB and the logs.

Any idea or suggestion to fix this problem and add the DB?

Many thanks in advance.

After removing the database from availability group, you can delete that database from secondary replica. It seems you have no free space on secondary replica. Deleting the database will give you space. And you can add the database to ag again

    Hi @Turandot

Did yunus emre ISIK's answer help you?

You can check this document to check the steps to delete database and add database: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/database-engine/availability-groups/windows/prereqs-restrictions-recommendations-always-on-availability?view=sql-server-ver16#RelatedTasksADb.

    Best regards,
