Assistance Needed to Update Publisher Domain for Verification

I hope this message finds you well. I am currently encountering an issue related to the verification of my application's publisher domain.

At present, the application's publisher domain is set to xxxxxxxx.com However, I've been informed that xxxxx.com publisher domains are not permissible and that a custom domain is required to proceed with the verification.

I understand that this custom domain needs to be a DNS verified domain on the tenant and should match the primary contact domain for my Microsoft Partner Network (MPN) account. I am somewhat unsure of how to accomplish this and need your guidance to proceed correctly.

Could you kindly guide me through the steps required to:

  1. Set up and DNS verify a custom domain on my tenant.
  2. Ensure that this new domain matches the primary contact domain for my MPN account.

I would greatly appreciate any detailed instructions or resources that could assist me in resolving this issue.

Thank you very much for your time and support. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Best regards,

Hi, to add and verify the custom domain:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/fundamentals/add-custom-domain

To change your UPN suffix on you account to match:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/fundamentals/how-to-manage-user-profile-info#add-or-change-profile-information

And select the new UPN. Note that this may affect any existing access to apps and One Drive. Or you can create a new account using the new custom domain suffix.
