How do I sync Teams channel "files" tab with existing document library in SharePoint

I have a SharePoint site setup for our company and a corresponding "Team" in MS Teams.

In SharePoint, I've created a file/folder management system. What I want to do is connect a new Team Channel, with an existing document library in SharePoint. I specifically do not want to use the document library automatically created when a Team Channel is created.

How can I reconcile the two document libraries?

Thank you for your help.

    Hi @
    Corey K

When you create a shared or private channel in a team, each shared or private channel has its own SharePoint site for file storage. Only members of shared or private channels can access this site.

When you create a standard channel, the standard channel will create a folder in your team's corresponding SharePoint site to store the channel's files. These are all by design of Teams and SharePoint integration, please refer to this document for details.

If you want to transfer all the files of each new channel to a special folder for management, I suggest you use PowerAutomate, whenever a new file is created in a channel, copy it into the designated folder.
