Can't download HOME Teams app - keeps downloading WORK

I have Microsoft 365 Personal. I keep trying to download Teams Home version. I click that on website and get an exec file and run it, and then when I do and try to sign in it tells me that I have downloaded a work version

Did you download the Teams for work version after you clicked to download the Teams for home version?

This is an expected behavior.

All you need to do is sign in to your personal account (not your work account) when you sign in, and Teams will convert to Teams for home.

I am having the same issue too on my new PCs. When I press 'switch accounts' on work or school account, it takes me to the online version of Teams home unlike on my other PCs which have home installed it loads the Teams home app. What's going on?
