How do you sign into an AzureAD connected device with your AzureAD credentials

Hello, I am attempting to migrate my computer to AzureAD as the sign in authority. We currently have devices connected to a local ADDS domain and I am testing the migration path to AzureAD device sign in. I have connected my device, using the add work or school account feature. The account is connected on the device now, and I see the device in AzureAD devices, owned and registered by my user account.

When I attempt to use my domain @company.com account to sign into the device however, it states the domain is unavailable and unable to sign in. My device is connected to the wifi/internet at login.

What am I missing?

To login to an Azure AD Joined device, you need to provide credentials in the following format: AzureAD\******@domain.com, where the AzureAD prefix is mandatory, and the UPN value must match the user's UPN within Azure AD.

Once the user logs to the device, a local profile will be created, and you can also use the AzureAD\FirstnameLastname format.

Thanks Vasil, I finally figured it out. In Windows 11 there is a separate space to 'join to Azure AD' rather than only connecting your Microsoft Work account. Once this was done it was possible to sign in using my Azure credentials.
