Does TEAMS support multiple tab pop-outs?

Our company created a personal and tab app, and we are trying to support multiple (tab or app pop-outs). It seems like this should be a basic feature, since then the end users can easily have the information from several tabs visible on their desktop, at the same time, all the time. But each time we pop-out a new tab, it overwrites the current pop-out. Same for the personal App.

Is this possible and if so how, and if not, why not?

Some tabs in Channels can be separated into windows of their own. It’s normally tabs that are not default tabs such as the Wiki, Posts, and Files tab. Other tabs i.e., app tabs such as the Planner can be separated into a window.

Based on your description, I tried to do the following test to verify it:

Step 1: Pop out Note tab, Forms Tab, and Word Tab one by one. It did not overwrite the current pop-out tab.

Step 2: I tried to pop out Files tab or Post tab and realized they don't have pop out option and cannot be separated into a window.

Thanks, but I do the same test, with OneNote and Word, and the pop-out tabs overwrite each other (so I still only have a single popped-out tab). Does that mean there is a TEAMS Admin setting or something that either permits or disables this functionality? And from your screenshots, each tab pop-out has the same name, TEST, which is not possible to have Tabs with the same name.

I used a normal test account, I also tried to test with other accounts, I can get the above results, and it will not be covered the current pop-out. We recommend that you check Teams first.

Here are some possible solutions to address:

checking if Teams needs to be updated.

Uninstall Teams from your device, then reinstall it.

Clear the Teams cache from your device.
