I am authenticated by microsoft then the site prompts me for a user id then no matter what I put in it says login falied
What do you want to access on iis.net? Since that web site is no longer actively maintained and highly valuable assets have been migrated to Microsoft Learn a while ago, I don't think you need to log in to it any more.
I found the download link further down the page. I have inherited a web site using rules and need the rules module for IIS to get it to build on IIS. Its all good now. Just very frustrating to log in and then get denied.
