NC-series Azure Virtual Machines will be retired on 31 August 2023. We are trying to deploy the NC T4 v3 VM size creating a new node-pool, but it wont let us create it, due to the cluster being on an older version of k8s. We are unable to upgrade the cluster's k8s version at this point, at least not before Aug 31st. Is there anyway we could still create this node pool or edit the existing node pool ti the new NC T4 v3 VM size?

Hi @Ram Karthik Reddy Malireddy (MINDTREE LIMITED)

It seems that you have found three VHD files with similar names and different sizes. These files are likely to be part of a split backup. The files are named in a way that suggests they are part of the same backup set, with the "-0" and "-1" suffixes indicating that they are part of a split backup.

The "-0" file is usually the first file in the set and contains the beginning of the backup data. The "-1" file is the second file in the set and contains the rest of the backup data. The first two files together make up the complete backup. The third file with a size of 0 bytes is likely a placeholder file that is created to indicate the end of the backup set.

To restore your machine, you will need to use all three files together. You can try to restore the machine using these files, but it is important to note that there may be other files required to complete the restore process.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
