OneNote Graph API is way out of sync on my tenant

*Using a personal account and trying to access the pages matching a particular title filter in a particular section of my notebook returns results consisting of pages that have been deleted permanently from the OneNote store. I know the pages were deleted permanently because I did so manually using OneNote for web.

Also, trying to access a page by title once its title has changed ($filter=title eq '<new title>') returns no results while the query for the previous title was returned.*

Is this a known issue for personal Microsoft accounts using the Graph API? How can the local cache used by the Graph API be rebuilt or forced to sync? The issue I am having persists occurring for more than 24 hours and I'm not sure it will ever change behavior.
