Make sure the service endpoint is enabled. The service endpoint may be disabled, which will prevent it from functioning. You can enable the service endpoint by going to the service endpoint resource and clicking the Enable button.

Check the network connectivity between the virtual network and the service. The service endpoint will not work if there is no network connectivity between the virtual network and the service. You can use the Azure Network Watcher tool to troubleshoot network connectivity issues.

Check the DNS configuration for the service endpoint. The service endpoint may not be able to resolve the DNS name of the service, which will prevent it from connecting. You can check the DNS configuration for the service endpoint in the Azure portal by going to the service endpoint resource and looking at the DNS settings property.

Recreate the service endpoint. If you have tried all of the above and the service endpoint is still in a failed state, you can try recreating the service endpoint. You may do a force refresh of the resources to recover from the failed state.

Go to Azure Resource Explorer and find the network interface card resource as shown in the below screenshot

Navigate to the Subscription, Resource Group, expand Microsoft.Network, and in our case, expand networkinterfaces. Select the interface that it is in a failed state. Click on Edit.

Click on Put, and then Get to check if state changes
