Hello,

After every one hour the VM shut down itself.

The logs says : « Windows 10 MSIX packaging environment » a été arrêté par le système d’exploitation invité. (ID d’ordinateur virtuel 9A98A7C7-ECC8-4080-951B-CAAB3C964CFC)

Best regards.

    Hi,

Since this a virtual machine, you'd better check the system log of the VM and the MSIX packaging tool logs under %localappdata%\packages\Microsoft.MsixPackagingTool_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\DiagOutputDir\

    Best Regards,

    Ian Xue

    Hello there,

If the VM is undergoing any snapshot, backup, or restore operations, it might lead to a shutdown. Ensure that these operations are not conflicting with the VM's regular operation.

Have you checked the Event Viewer for any trace?

If you cannot find anything in Event Viewer I would suggest you use tools like Procmon to find the root cause for this behaviour.

The error message you provided, "Windows 10 MSIX packaging environment has been terminated by the guest OS (VM ID 9A98A7C7-ECC8-4080-951B-CAAB3C964CFC)," suggests that the virtual machine running the Windows 10 MSIX packaging environment has been forcefully shut down by the guest operating system. This message indicates that the VM's OS itself initiated the shutdown.

Ensure that the guest operating system, as well as any applications or software within the VM, are up to date. Sometimes, updates can fix known issues that might lead to unexpected shutdowns.

Hope this resolves your Query !!
