Hi All,

I have found that I can't enable Windows Device Encryption on my desktop due to the following issue "Un-allowed DMA-capable bus/device(s) detected". I have tried the registry solution that was given here: (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/device-experiences/oem-bitlocker#un-allowed-dma-capable-busdevices-detected) but it still won't work for me.

    Hi there,

You need to Check if there are BIOS/UEFI updates available for your system.

    also

    You need to

Suspend BitLocker (required for devices bound to PCR[07] only if the firmware update changes the Secure Boot policy)

    Apply the update

    Restart the device

    Resume BitLocker

    check this article :

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/device-experiences/oem-bitlocker#un-allowed-dma-capable-busdevices-detected

    And see if it helps,

    Thank you
